EASE MY MEMORY

Original music by my friend Lew Lew, a metal scrapper by trade. I met him while he was hauling scrap from a building my wife and I are turning into an event space and fabrication shop. After 60 years of Marlboros, his gravelly voice reminded me of Johnny Cash. Flippantly, I said, 'I bet you’ve got a great singing voice.' To my surprise, the next time he rolled up, Lew Lew brought his 'ten-dollar-guitar' and played a song he’d written with his late brother.
